Between 2015 and 2021, Anna wrote 43 episodes for NZ's longest-running serial drama, SHORTLAND STREET. She also spent 17 months breaking story in the show's fast-paced writers' room. As a writer-for-hire, Anna has worked early development and plotting for various shows, including acting as Story Assistant on UNDER THE VINES S4. Anna co-developed and wrote the pilot for IN MEDIA RES, an audio drama produced in the U.S. to be released in 2025.Anna’s original screenplay BARA was selected by The Black List for a USA-run mentorship. BARA previously won the NZ Writers Guild's Best Unproduced Feature Film Script competition. It was also awarded NZFC Early Development Funding, and has director Robyn Grace attached.Anna has several projects in development, including a comedy-drama optioned by Kevin & Co.
